Is there any better combo than shrink & decryptor (NOT)

I'm a real newbie but spent most of christmas vaca time trying different softwares and DVD brands. I had the most problems with the Seinfeld Season 3 Volume 2 discs I got for Christmas. I tried DVD-R, DVD +R, -RW and +RW using eval software and couldn't get one to work.

Finally, I found the combination of DVD Shrink and DVD Decryptor worked the best copying the Main Movie only and writing in ISO mode using Decryptor.

Seems to work every time regardless of the type of DVD media I use.

I've seen the claims the commercial products make and I can't imagine why I would spend 30 to 150 dollars for any of them when I can use Shrink and Decryptor.

Any comments ? Anyone find other solutions for the Seinfeld discs ?

Well I've been using DVD Decrypter and Nero Recode 2.2 (Formally DVD Shrink) to do my backups now these days.

    1) DVD Decrypter to Hard Drive
    2) Nero Recode it in 3 steps.

Set Nero Recode for movies that need compression to:
    NO Burn-at-once
    YES Advanced analysis
    YES High quality mode
    Priority: High

Set Nero Recode for movies that have NO compression to:
    YES Burn-at-once
    NO Advanced analysis
    NO High quality mode
    Priority: High

Nero Recode is included in the Nero 6.6 Suite.
    Cheers!
