Problem burning DVDs with Nero

I have been having problems burning DVDs about half the time with Nero. I rip with DVDShrink and then burn with Nero. I keep getting this error message:

I have tried updating DVDShrink and Nero. I also updated my firmware. My burning speed is as low as it will go. I have tried everything that I can think of and am getting mad as I have wasted 10 DVD-Rs so far. Thanks.

It seems your burner doesn't care for the media you are using. Try using a more reputable brand, such as Ritek Ridata.

There is a later firmware than you currently have installed: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_firmware.php?download_id=1934

Another try could be to set your burner as master and the other one as slave.

I'm already using RiData 8x DVD-Rs, and i've already updated the firmware. I just tried to go back to an earlier version of DVDShrink and that didn't work either.
