Whay can't I burn?

I have a new NEC-3500a burner, fujifilm dvd-r (4.7gb) media, one click dvd software and dvd decrypter and windows xp pro. I decode the dvd, then try to burn it, but get an error message "none of your drives have the needed 4.0gb", or something like that. I had windows 98se and a pioneer burner and it worked fine but slow. Now I can't burn. I can decode. Any tips?

Are you on a FAT32 file system?

FAT32 is limited to 4 GB for a single file.

You can convert your FAT32 very easy without loosing your data by doing the following:

From Start/Run: cmd (press enter) your will be in command line mode.

type: convert C: /fs:NTFS

It will ask if its okay to do the conversion on the next reboot. Answer yes to that. Reboot.. Your system will then convert the FAT32 file system to NT File System which will allow files larger then 4 GB.

I swithed to NTFS and I still get the error message:
"You do not have 4GB
of free space on any of your hard disks. Please remove
some files and try again."

Well how much free space is left on your Hard Drives?

Thanks for all the suggestions. 1clickdvd (the burning software co) replied to my email and it was a software issue. After a quick update, no problems.
