    Major Nero burning issues

    I need help!!!

    please....

I"m been using DVD Shrink and Nero to burn DVD's.

My Pioneer A08L is only 4mths old.

But, for some reason, I keep getting a "burn failed" message now with any speed that I try to burn. (4x, 6x, 8x or 16x)

I don't know what the problem is....

any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Could you post a log file from Nero ?

To do so, go here: C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero
Look for a file named "NeroHistory.log"
Open that file up and copy it.
    Then paste it here.

Also, try using a better media such as Ritek Ridata. FUJIFILM has been known to cause problems.

Even though you may have successfully used FUJI media in the past, it still may be the problem now. Ex. I buy a 25 pack of FUJIFILM DVD-R's, I could use the first 20 them successfully and the last 5 would fail. Could just be a faulty disc out of the bunch. Memorex is another brand that give alot of people problems.

do you think it could be the burner?

It's been 4mths...burned a whole bunch of movies before with no problem...

It could very well be the burner as I did some searching around on google, and numerous people had that "Queue again later
PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-108\H1 T0" error message. For some the solution was an updated ASPI driver, other the solution was buying a new drive.

                          excuse my lack of knowledge...

                          but what is "ASPI"..

                          where can I get it?

otherwise, what dvd burner would you recommend? (manufacture, model)

                          to top it off....

my failed blank media will not pop out...it's stuck..

mvill, I must have overlooked it earlier, but on your nero log file, it says "WinAspi: File 'Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=?.?.?.?, size=30208 bytes, created 6/11/1997 7:01:02 PM "

I think that is your problem, give me some time to research on it before you buy another drive. lol
