burning errors

Any help you can provide would be fantastic.

I downloaded both DVD Decrypter and Shrink today and installed.

I have read and followed the DVD Shrink Guide – printer Friendly Versions and the information provided on your website.

The steps I followed
1 – DVD Decrypter, seemed to work fine, a file was placed on my hard drive.

2 – DVD Shrink then burn to DVD decrypter


DVD Shrink work find, I watched this till it stop and dvd DECRYPTER came back up to burn.
Within a few sections the following message appeared

Device IO Control (FSCTL_Lock_Volume) Failed!
Device HL-DT-ST DVD Ram GSA – 4081B A104 (D (ATA)
Unable to lock volume for exclusive access
Reason: Access is denied.

I pressed the retry button and the same message appeared, then I pressed ignore and the following message appeared at the end … the log is below from DVD decrypter.

do you have packet writing apps such as InCD, DLA or Drag to Disc currently installed also on your computer?

I don't think I have any of those installed is there a way I can find out.

Thanks I am going through them now, but I have tried another process just using DVD Decrypter but it seems my problems continues to be at the burning process, this has happen since down loading the latest version of dvd decrypter. I have sent some info to the forum on their site but awaiting reply.

The lastest information logs are as follows. Not sure if you can suggest anything.

Open DVD Decrypter.

From the 'Mode' menu, select 'ISO' -> 'Read'.

Put DVD-5 / PS2 disc in drive.

Take note of the 'Destination' file name.

Click the big 'Decrypt' button.

Take the DVD-5 / PS2 disc out of the drive.

Put a blank disc in your DVD Writer.

Click the little folder icon - 'Browse for source file' - and select the MDS file created for you as part of the steps above.

What brand of discs do you use?

Try to see if your DMA is still enabled.
