Does recording speeds effect DVD quality?

What is the difference if I write at 8x instead of 2.4x?

If the DVD writes perfectly either way is there a difference?

The faster the burning, the more likely you will have errors on the disc.


Media also plays in how fast/slow you can burn. Cheaper media usually get errors any way but, the faster you burn with it the worse they could get.
