    need DVD burn help

    Hi,

I'm new here and new to dvd burning.

I recently got DVD Decrypter and tranferred a dvd to my harddrive. It shows up as a TS_Video file.

I'm confused. How do I play that? How do I burn it to a disk? Is there any place I can get step-by-step directions?

ps. I also have the Nero trial version. I can't figure that out either!

    I'd appreciate any help,

    Marcie

Thanks for your quick reply. I do have DVD Shrink. I printed the directions & tried that too, with no luck

I got it to work somehow. Seems it wouldn't accept my +RW disk. I'm not sure why since I have a +R/+RW burner. And the disk is empty & new.

Anyway, when I played the video back, it appears in widescreen format. Is there a way to get it in full screen?

(I used DVD shrink & DVD encoder).

Is the original movie Widescreen? Sometimes there are two movies on one DVD a widescreen version and a fullscreen if this is the case you would need to reauthor and select the fullscreen version.

Yes, the original movie has wide & fullscreen options. How do I change the setting to select the fullscreen version?

ps. I took your advice and posted this in DVD Shrink area before I saw your recent post. Thanks Norm.

are widescreen and fullscreen on opposite sides of the disk or is it an option before you view the movie?

                Hi Fifty,

They are options before viewing the movie. I posted this question on the Shrink area and someone came up with a good suggestion that may work...
