2 easy questions for you smart folks

    1) Used DVD Decrypter (rip and burn) and DVD Shrink combo to back up Spiderman 2 and was 98% successful. Only thing that didn't work was subtitles. Any thoughts on what I did/did not do to make this happen?

    2) The movie starts with a preview of upcoming flix. Where would I have found this and how could I have deleted it?

Norm, thanks for the response but could you please be a little more specific? Not all THAT tech savy. Thanks.

You can get rid of all the preview stuff and menus. Where the movie will just start when you put it in your player. In Shrink select reauthor button at top then just select Main Movie (you can drag and drop it) into dvd structure. Then you can select which subtitles and audio streams you want to keep. If you go to the Shrink FAQ section of the forum this is all explained better there are also links on the forum to Shrink guides.

Here is the link to the FAQ section

Here are some links to some guides

DVD Shrink is a free and user-friendly dvd backup tool, enabling you to make backup copies of your DVDs to a single DVD±R/RW or Dual-Layer DVD+R. DVDs too big to fit on a DVD±R can be edited and/or compressed. DVDShrink.info does not condone the copying of DVDs in countries where it is illegal.

You really don't need decrypter to do spiderman 2. I backed up my copy when I first purchased it and did it with just DVD shrink. Last night I purchased the special edition widescreen (yay) and backed it up no problem.

Tried doing that and when I got to the Transcoding part it shut itself down. Bummer.
