I have been trying to back up so of my dvd's and i usually use dvdxcopy wiht no problem but lately i have to use other forms to do it. I have been using dvd shrink 3.2 and can get the movie on the hard drive but when i try to burn to dvd it goes through the entire process but as it is writting the lead out it fails. Here is a copy of my error message

Your burner doesn't like that brand of media. Change to a more reliable, reputable brand such as Ritek Ridata or Verbatim.

Also, what format is the media you are using? DVD-R or DVD+R ?

Will get some new media and try. Hope it helps. I am using dvd-r media do not remember name but never had a problem when using dvdxcopy only have problems with nero (think that the progam shrink using to copy with)

Also, on a side note. Could you please remove your serial number from the top of this post?
