DVD Playback Problem (DVD Shrink 3.2 + DVD Decrypter)

Im having problems playing back my DVDs after copying them using DVD Shrink 3.2 and the latest version of DVD Decrypter. Ive been using these programs for months with no problems but now for some reason (even tho nothing has changed) they will not playback on my DVD player or my computer (just says error and ejects the disc). The computer freezes up untill the dvd is ejected then returns to normal again. I thought it might be the media but i have successfully copied movies on the same bundle a few weeks back.

Can anybody help me as im wasting lots.

Can you playback the DVD's that your DVD player gives you an error on, in your computer?

Previously having success on a brand of media, is no indication you won't eventually have a problem with them. You may have got a bad disc or a bad batch of disc.

no, the discs that give me an error on my DVD player will not play on the computer. They completely freeze the computer up untill i eject them.

Then something is not right in the burning phase, if they won't even play on your computer.

does anyone know what the "Book Type" should be set to when using DVD+R?

Note: Don't ever try to set the booktype of a DVD-R. It will produce a coaster. Just do it on the +Rs.

but do you have any ideas as to why the dvds im copying will not play on anything? see first thread

What application are you burning with?
What speed are you burning at?
Have you tried either another brand or a ReWritable?
Have you checked www.videohelp.com/dvdwriters for your brand of media and burner?

i have tried burning with nero6 and dvd decrypter.
burning at 2.4x
im using the same pack of blank dvd+rs that used to be successfull for me until just the other day when nothing will copy, they have always been fine in the past tho.

Having been previously successful with a disc out of a pack/bundle of media is irrelevant. As you may have got a bad disc or a bad batch of disc.

Or the discs in the bundle may infact have mixed media codes
