My typical method of ripping/burning is to use DVD Shrink and then burn with DVD Decrypter..

I understand the 2 fore-mentioned movies have more up-to-date encryption codes.

I use DVD Decrypter to rip the file to an ISO on my hard drive.

Then I open image file in DVD Shrink to compress. DVD Shrink is encountering an error in both of these examples and shutting itself down.

Any tips or input as to what is happening.??

How do I create Video TS and Audio TS folders instead of creating an image (ISO) file?

i usually select mode ISO-READ to upload.

I know I've done it before to create these 2 folders... DVD Shrink may like those better if I can create them with DVDD.

Use DVD Decrypter to "rip" the DVD to your hard drive in "File" mode - and from the "Edit" dropdown menu, select "All files" (NOT "movie files").

Then use DVD Shrink to "Open files" (NOT "Open Disk") - and select "VIDEO_TS.IFO" or the actual "VIDEO_TS" folder.

DVD Shrink can automatically create the AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS folders for you in the backup options screen if check marked.

Do you know why Shrink would be shutting down on me?

Is it worth uninstalling and re-installing both shrink and decrypter?

The reason Shrink is shutting down on you I think, is cause of these know problematic DVD's such as Bourne Supremacy. There is a "Unreferenced Materials" folder on the DVD that contains a video file that DVD Shrink cannot handle. You must first rip the movie with the latest version of DVD Decrypter, Currently: Version 3.5.2.0 is the latest.

Uninstalling and reinstalling will not help.

Yep, you have to make the "Unrefrencened Materials" folder a "Still Image"!
