I'd love it if anyone could help me out here. I just bought a Sony RDR-GX300 DVD recorder and I've tried to set up the timer to record tv and it seems to work fine in that it records. My problem is, I can't change the channel while it's recording without it recording the new channel. I set the recording to a certain channel but even if i turn off the tv, it will record the channel I've last left it on instead of the one I told it to on the timer. I am a novice at best when it comes to technology of any sorts, so please be gentle. Thanks!
