no audio backing up along came polly

I have tried several times to backup my copy of along came polly but everytime there is no audio. When I try to play it back on my computer it says due to patent license restrictions movie will be played without audio. Can anyone help?

What software are you using to try to backup the DVD?

I backed up "Along Came Polly" Region 1 DVD with no problems using just DVD Shrink 3.2 .

the video works great, but there is still copy protection on the audio.

                To diver22

                1) Are you trying to backup an ORIGINAL, COMMERCIAL DVD or, perhaps, a copy created with software such as DVDXCopy?

                2) If ORIGINAL, what is the Region of the DVD?

I (as has "jmet") READILY and SUCCESSFULLY backe dup "Along Came Polly" with no incident and NO problem with the audio.

                    1) What program are you using to playback on your PC? (YOu should use a software DVD player such as WinDVD or PowerDVD to "Play as DVD" (NOT simply individual .VOBs).

                    2) Try playing it on a standalone DVD player - and selecting from among the audiostreams available...

I'm sorry I'm out of suggestions, DVD Shrink in no way modifies that audio portion on the DVD. Why its giving you that error, I have no idea. Take a screen shot of the error message and post it here. My guess is its, not related to DVD Shrink at all.

                            Once again:

This is not on my pc. The sound will not play on the stand alone dvd player as well.
