    Dual Layer Burning Software

    Like my previous post said, I'm very new to this stuff. I'm wondering can DVD Shrink do backups on dual layer discs? I think the idea is to shrink the DVD to fit on a single 4.7 Gig disc, but what if you bought dual layer discs. I have a DL burner. Are there other software titles I should be using instead?

    Thanks!
    Cheers,
    J.P.

    "but what if you bought dual layer discs. I have a DL burner."

    Then you have no need to compress. Simply use DVD Decrypter to "Read .ISO" (Decrypt and write an .ISO image file to your hard drive) and then "Write .ISO" (burn to your D/L media).

    OR

    Use DVD Decrypter in "File" mode (select "ALL files", NOT "movie files") to "rip to your hard drive - and then using NERO, in "DVD-Video" mode, copy all DVD-related files (.IFOs, .BUPs, .VOBs) from your hard drive to NERO's RED "VIDEO_TS" folder - and burn...

        "Thanks Setarip!"

        My pleasure ;>}

        (Those D/L burnable DVDs are still far too expensive)
