    Slow your burning down. I recommend burning no faster than 4X.

    "1:09:37 AM #28 CDR -1039 File WriterStatus.cpp, Line 167
    Focus or tracking error"
    Focus or tracking error is 90% a hardware problem. Either your recorder's laser beam cant focus on the disc track, or the spindle motor cant hold the proper speed.
    If it is the first reason, using a cleaning cd/dvd or opening the drive and cleaning the lens might help.

            Go here to read about "firmware". - http://www.feurio.com/English/faq/fa...firmware.shtml

            Then go to the link cynthia provided to update yours.

                I would recommend both, but primarily make sure you do it for your burner.

                I repeat:

                  Is there something wrong? I downloaded the update for nero last night on the error code it says:

                  Nero API version 6.6.0.6
                  using interface version 6.3.1.4

                  one other thing i noticed is that this is blank dont know if it is supposed to be or not its located at top of page.

                      Those numbers are the same as in your posted log.
                      Are you saying that in your latest attempt there is no ASPI?

                            In your log file:
                            Windows XP 5.1

                            If it is the last "WinAspi:" - you don't need those - Nero uses it's own ASPIs when burning.
