AnyDVD

Does anyone know of a free program that works like AnyDVD?

I want to use Nero Recode to back-up my movie DVDs, but Nero recognizes the copyprotection. With the trial version of AnyDVD, it will just go ahead and let you back-up.

I like the way AnyDVD runs in the background and you don't have to do anything.

I've looked for something like it, but all I find are full blown programs that do the whole recording. I would rather stick with Nero Recode, which will let you set the start scene and the stop scene, so you can easily set where to split the movie for two disks.

Have you tried using "DVD Shrink"?

Works fine in conjunction with Nero Recode
