Yes i am having the same problem i have Super DVD Creator 8.0, with Nero 5.5, and don't know what to do? PLease help????? Also is it regular to burn a DVD for an 1hr:45 min? I have a DVD-RW external drive connected to my HP 771N and since it is hi-speed 2.0 hub i guess my pc is slower like 1.1 hub, what should i do to make it go faster?

    Hi selacosta

To which previous problem are you reffering to?

Sounds as if you need to install a USB2.0 PCI card.
They're really cheap and take a couple of minutes to pop in.

It isn't advisable to burn a DVD using USB 1.1. It is too slow and can cause problems while burning. Only burning CD is recommended at USB 1.1 speed.

A easy way to check if you have USB 2.0 is too look in the device manager of the control panel.

Under USB controllers, if it saids Standard Enchanced USB Host controller. Then the computer is USB 2.0.

When i went to check the device manager its says under my USB controllers its says (SIS 7001 PCI to USB OPEN HOST CONTROLLER) What does that mean?? Should i still get a USB 2.0 install, if so, how would i go around to install it? I am not a computer guru so if you could tell me step by step, that would be great.

        Thank you so much!

If the word "enhanced" is not anywhere then you do have USB 1.1.

A USB PCI card goes into the computer. You need a spare PCI slot. It inserts into the slot and that should be it.
