Not playing on my ps2 ? :S

hi there guys
i've been using dvd dycryotor and dvd shrink to back up my dvds but the thing is it wont play on my ps2, it'll play on my standalone divx player, my pc dvd rom, and other dvd players ive tested. It just wont work on ps2. Im using dvd-r hyundai disk.
Am i doing anything wrong during the dycrypting and the shrinking ?

There are 7 different versions of the PS2 that I know of, maybe more. Not all versions will play recordable DVD media. If they will play in your computer and standalone divx player, then no your not doing anything wrong.

If you persist on finding out why they won't play on the PS2, try burning them to a DVD+R.

I have a similar problem.

I burnt an .ISO to a DVD and it plays just fine in my PS2. However, when I use Nero to burn Vob, ifo and all that to a DVD-Video disk it doesnt play in the PS2. It plays in all the other DVD playersI have access to.

I now the PS2 can read that type of disk as the ISO works perfectly.

Any ideas?
