Problems Burning DVDs, Burn Process Failed

I have a problem burning data discs with my NU DVDRW DDW-082 drive. I'm able to burn images with Alcohol 120% but the burn process fails after 100% complete in Nero. Here's the log:

Your burner doesn't like your brand of media. I assume your using a cheap brand? Try to get some Ritek Ridata brand or Verbatim brand media.

can not burn windows error message

Hi everyone, I am new to posting but not new to reading the reviews, ( which have been some help) I was burning fine til one day I open shrink and was ready to burn and it say error message for burning and I cant figure if it is windows XP or nero program. I think it is windows. I says I have no burning program so it just holds it in my temp file. I have about 4 burning programs which include decypter. I was wondering if this is a windows update problem that has changed my settings. My nero is working but it won't Idenify it. I am really lost I have updated, reinstalled, uninstalled added, took out everything I can think of but nothing is working. Please write back and let me know if anybody else is having problems with finding no burning program using windows XP.
