DVD Shrink with Nero

[ccanalia]

I havent had any problems with this DVD burner until now. I was using cheap media but decided to use the TDK since my burner is a TDK. The drive will burn and then errors toward the end of the burn process. I am using DVD Shrink and Nero. Here is my log.

Your system cannot provide information to the program fast enough. Try burning at either 2X or 4X...

I think I have read that you cannot change this information when using DVD shrink and Nero, is this right? Do I need to use a different program in order to drop that speed down?

don't use the automated "enable burning with nero" feature in dvdshrink (preferences).
burn it manually

How would you burn it manually? I thought if you didnt burn with Nero then it couldnt be burned at all. Do you take the files and burn them with a different program or what?

Could try out DVD Decrypter - it's freeware. Click on the cute guy and find a FAQ on how to do it.

The problem with Nero is that you can't set a lower burning speed from DVD Shrink - with DVD Decrypter you can. The outcome (=the burned disc) will be the same.
