DVDDecrypter updates??

Hello.
I know DVDShrink is no longer updated. Is DVDDecrypter still often updated? Roughly how often is it updated, every 2 months, 3 months? Will the newest version 3.5.2.0 copy Sony's ARccOS protection system??

PS Does DVD43Free work like AnyDVD in the background with DVDDecrypter and with DVDShrink?

DVD Decrypter is updated and released approx every 2-3 month. The latest version can handle ARccOS protected discs with region code 1. With the introduction to the region 2 market - there was a slightly change in the system and you need to use PSL files at the moment. Next version of DVD Decrypter will handle also them.

DVD43Free shall not be running at the same time as DVD Decrypter. If you run DVD43Free in the background you can use it with DVD Shrink.

DVD Decrypter 3.5.3.0 has just been released in case you didn't know.

Since shrink is no longer supported and this version is the last, from what I have read, is there going to be a replacement for DVD Shrink or are we just going to ride this version out?

1) Only if another author comes along with a similarly excellent freeware program

2) There are already-exsiting excellent commercial rip/compress/burn programs available
