DVD not working in DVD player

Hi i use dvd shrink to backup my dvds and then use nero to burn the files as dvd video file's. However once burnt they dont work in my player the player i have is a stand-alone pioneer dvd player and it recognises the dvd but doesnt play it, the same thing happened in another player, However the dvds work on my playstation 2.
If you could hel p it is greatly appreciated. Cheers

Here's one for you all to ponder... I have the latest NERO installed as well as DVDDecrypter, DVD2One, and DVDShrink. All four programs run great without erros. Here is the issue:
I can use DVDSrhink w/ automatic burning through NERO and the disks play on all my DVD players. I can use Decrypter/DVD2one and burn the same DVD with NERO and it will only play on some of my DVD players. I gave my friend a copy of all of the above programs and if he burns with Decrypter/DVD2one and burns w/ Nero, the same DVD, it will play on all of my DVD players. The question: Why is it my copies will not play on all of the players? Is there a list of the default settings that DVDShrink sets NERO to that I could double check? The whole thing puzzles me... Thanks.

In order to make sure that your experiment is valid, make certain of the following:

1) Both you and your friend are using the same media, from the same pack of media

2) That in ALL instances (whether using DVD2One or DVDShrink), both you and your friend are burning at the same rate

1) We did not use the same pack but we use the same brand and the problem persists (for me) over multiple media and packs whereas his always works.

2) we both use the "Maximum" burn rate which is generally 4x (I have burned at 8x and 12x with the same problems).

Here is some more info:
I generally use Memorex 8x DVD+R media, I have a Pioneer Pioneer DVR-A08 w/ the latest firmware. I have the newest DVD decrypter version, DVD2one v1.5.1, DVDShrink V3.2, and the newest updates for all aspects of my NERO package. Also, I use Verbatim media (currently I have 8x dvd-r's). Thanks.
