when i analyze and encode the dvd everything works fine but when it burns it and finishes i'll put it in my dvd player and it reads dirty disc and error but when i take that file i backed up and burn it using nero it records fine can someone help me

i'm using dvd shrink and i've never had this problem the media i'm using is ridata and burning at 12xComment

What would you rather do - save 5 or 6 minutes (compared to a 4x burn) or throw away a coaster and do it again, taking more time than you would have taken by burning at 4x in the first place?
I use Riteks too; I burn at 4x and have never had a bad burn - ever!
There's good advice here for you. You might like to consider taking it, instead of arguing with people who have "been there and done that".

By all means, feel free to continue at a higher than experience has proven to be prudent - but then you'll never know if this minor change that I've suggested will make your media usable, as other than coasters...Comment

2 easy ways:
1. Burn with DVD Decrypter - where you can set the speed once and for all.
2. Output to hard drive folder and then open Nero manually, where you can set the speed manually.
Both methods allow you the added comfort of being able to verify your burn.
