Burn compilation in Nero

Hi, used Shrink successfully to save dvd to hard drive and opened Nero Ultra to burn it. Made dvd writer the drive and not "image recorder". Dragged the files over to video ts, clicked "recorder" to "burn compilation" but this sub menu is "greyed out" Any ideas?

You need to click the burn icon to begin the process Nicole. That's the 9th icon from the left. And don't select Image Recorder if you have DVD files.

Perhaps you could post a screen shot of what you have? In particular showing the VIDEO_TS folder expanded.

If you didn't have a blank burnable DVD in the burner at the time, the "burn menu" will remain greyed-out...

(It appears that you've done everything else properly - as you said, "Made dvd writer the drive and not 'image recorder'...clicked 'recorder" to 'burn compilation'". There is nothing wrong with your choosing to use the dropdown menus, rather than the icons...)

I thought the burn icon/burn compilation becomes clickable when you add your files to the video_ts folder.

1) Are you sure you dragged and dropped the files (.IFOs, .BUPs, .VOBs) INTO the RED "VIDEO_TS" folder?

2) Are you using an "OEM" version of NERO, that came with a different burner than the one you are now using? (OEM versions will work ONLY with the burners with which they are bundled)
