    Problem with DVDDecrypter

I installed DVDDecrypter and I get this error everytime I try to open it.

The application failed to initalize properly (0xc0000005). Click OK to terminate the application.

Has anyone ever had this problem or could possibly tell me why I am getting this error.

    Thanks
    Nichole

No I have windows XP. I am doing this because I am having problems with the movie "Ray" and I was reading your instructions on how to back it up. I did the DVD43 and it is still giving me problems so I thought I would try DVDDecrypter but still having problems.

The only thing I found on Google:

"Hi all, CloneAD here, just thought I'd mention as stated on the download page of my web site for all .NET programs you have to have .NET Framework installed.

BTW, if you don't you get this error:

'The Application Failed To Initialize Properly (0xc0000135)'

Hope this clears a few things up.
        Thanks"

Just to be sure - don't have DVD43 running while you use DVD Decrypter.

Also that you don't have DVD Shrink trying to access your DVD at the same time as you use DVD Decrypter.

I made sure to turn off the DVD43 and did not have DVD Shrink trying to access the DVD. I read in your problem solving tips to turn off DVD43 if using DVDdecrypter

So basically - the only thing you have done is to download DVD Decrypter ver 3.5.4.0? And when you try to launch the program it will not start and only give you this error message.

The Net thing was something I found on google - don't think it has any relevance to your case.

Exactly. When I try to use DVD shrink it goes to about 52& analyzing and then says this

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue
                  Failed to read file "I:\"
Copy protection error - the read failed because this sector is encrypted.

This is why I had the DVD43 running and it did it again with DVD43 running.
So I figured lets try DVD decrypter and I can't even get that to open up.

Thanks. I will try to download it from a different place and see how that works and if it makes a difference.

DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0 and DVD Shrink 3.2 are the only 2 programs I use, and 90% of the people here use.

You can try "DVD95Copy". It does it all. It is not freeware though. - http://forum.digital-digest.com/foru...?s=&forumid=70
