DVD Decrypter questions

Note: I just noticed the disclaimer and realized I posted in the wrong forum a minute ago. Sorry about that and please delete the post in the Ripping forum.

1. Does anyone have quick access to a good tutorial to use this? I suppose reliability is what I'm mostly asking about.

2. How long does it take to rip one DVD of average length?

3. Is DVD Shrink a MUST or only if the movie exceeds 4.7 gig?

4. Why does Nero come up in about every search I do for Decrypter and Shrink, when the latter can supposedly rip itself?

5. Why did it say, W 21:08:59 Drive C:\ (FAT32) does not support single files > 4 GB
after I installed Decrypter?

3. Only if you can't fit it on a max 4.7 Gb disc.
4. One of the programs you can use with DVD Shrink to do you burning.
5. Because you have such a disc and you are now informed about it. If you want to get rid off the message - reformat your hard disk to NTFS.

I didn't read the details of the forums until after making that post. I noticed and apologized in here, which appears to be the more proper place for the question since I'm asking about backup. Sorry again for the double-post.

There is no need to format it to NTFS. The programs will work without it.

If you are running XP, its very easy to convert (and you should):

1. Open a command prompt window (Start-->Run-->cmd)
2. Type Convert C: /fs:ntfs (assumes you are converting drive c)
