error message

Hi after some help, i am using a pioneer 105 and 4X datawrite media. I have recently been getting the following error message from Alcohol 120% while trying to burn anything to dvd-r.

"Something is wrong with the recording procedure.Please report any errors to tech Support"

In the logfile it says Unknown Error

Also i just can,t burn anything on Dvd with any burning program but the dvd writer will burn to cdr

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated

Your burner, which is I believe an older model, may require a cleaning.

Maxell makes a DVD/CD cleaning disc that retails for approximately $10US...
