Seems To Rip Fine But No Playback

Hi i have read through the forum and have seen a few topics like mine but with no clear answer to the problem. the problem i am having is that when i try to back up a dvd i use either shrink with nero or dvdclone2 with anydvd and the same issue happens with both. i put the movie in one drive and they drive can read it and play it so i use either application to decode and save to harddrive and this goes fine and then prompts me to insert blank media which i do and it shows that its burning and the burner sounds like it's going through all the motions but when i put the dvd into any player or mine (2 dvd players that can play burns, ps2, laptop ect..) it acts like there is nothing. i can go to the folder where the files are saved and play them in windows media player and nero showtime. i am stumped so if anyone could shead some light i'd be very greatfull. thanks in advance.

Could very well be that your player don't like burned discs even if it states so. Are you burning on +R media?

What media? What players? Check media/player compat in my sig. Also, read the golden rules of burning.
