Problem Burning To Dvd+r Using Nero

Hello iam would be very greatful if someone could help me. I am having trouble burning to a dvd+r after the encoding process is done. the software requests a dvd-r disk and i want to use a dvd+r disk. i don't know why this is hapening because my notbook suports dvd+r disks. I keep getting an error saying that the recorder does not suport dvd+r disks even though i have burned movies using the same type of disks on the same notebook but recently i have run into this problem. someone please help meeee.

Sounds more as your burner don't like your brand of discs.

What brand is you trying to feed the burner with?

I am using HP dvd+r

Could be that your firmware needs an update and/or your burning software.

See that you use Nero for burning. Could you post the last burning report in this file: C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroHistory.log

It would tell us something about your system.
