    Problem with SAW

    Hello,

i have a problem. I want to copy SAW with DVDshrink.
First I use DVD43, than Shrink.
It Backup the DVD to the End, without any problems, but when the program ask me to put an DVD-R in the burner, the program says that there is not enough space.
i compresed the DVD with Shrink to 74,.. % etc...
    I used a standart DVD-R with 4,7 gb.

    Any solutions?

Is there any red at the top at the end of the green bar?

What number does it say at the end of that bar?

did you use auto compression? i have had the same problem a few times, i just use custom ratio and compress it a bit further.

You might have to do a "Movie Only" backup. That is what I did with "Saw".

You can also use "VOB Blanker" to remove extras or additional titlesets while retaining the original menu structure. After you have processed the DVD with VOB Blanker, open the project in DVD Shrink and perform your backup. You will end up with an overall better compression ratio and you will have use of the menus.

when you re-author select only the german language(right side of screen). at the left bottom of the screen you can preview your back-up too.

while jmets guide is elaborate and well done, this one here is great if your new at this. have a look. very simple
