    problem with DVD Shrink backup

    howdy all,

I use DVD Shrink 3.2 and Nero 6.0.0.3 to copy DVDs on a Lite On 1633S burner, under Win XP SP1.

I have successfully made backups of almost every movie I've tried so far, and the few failures were copied first using DVD Decrypter and then DVD Shrink on the decrypted version on the hard drive.

Today I made a backup of "Meet The Fockers" with DVD Shrink. To all appearances, the copy completed normally. The disc plays normally in PowerDVD, but will nor play in either my Daewoo or my Sony set top players.

Can you offer any input on potential problems, or utilities I can use to diagnose the disc? I assume there are some that I don't know about that can do some testing.

    Thanks,

    Gersen

I can play the disc on my PC using Power DVD, but it will not start on either set top player.

That, by definition, means the disc is NOT fine.

I'm not sure what you mean by "new media".

      thanks,
