I have done a couple of DVD's and I quite like it but on my system it just takes too long (around 6 hours so far).
I tried the maximum compression and the first DVD went from 7.5G to 750MB. The DVD when converted back ended at 2.5GB.
What I like, is the ability to convert the audio to Dolby Virtual Surround 2 channel at 192kb/sec. I have seen an example where Shrink hasn't managed to shrink to 4.36GB because of a huge LPCM audio track. RatDVD converted the DVD down to 1.5GB then, when converted back to DVD format ended at nearly 4GB. The audio stayed as DVS 2 channel. The end result is better picture quality than Shrink's result and keeping the LPCM.
