mpeg2 - vob

hi,

I have captured vhs video to mpeg2 format. when i try to make a dvd-video using nero and drop the mpg file into the VIDEO-TS folder i get a messge saying that my file needs to be converted to a DVD-VIDEO compatible file such as .vob, .ifo. Does anyone know any freeware software that can make such a conversion?

mpeg2 and vob are essentially the same. try renaming the file extension vob to mpg
