    DVD Burning Problem

    Hi all

    OK, here's the deal...

My burner is a Pioneer 107 (with latest firmware - 1.21).

I am backing-up my movies with DVD Shrink 3.2

I am burning with DVD Decrypter version 3.5.4.0.

I have been using two different types of discs - Datawrite Titanium 8x DVD-R (ADVDINFO: CMC MAG. AE1/MCC 02RG20) & Datawrite 8x DVD-R (ADVinfo: CMC MAG. AE1).

However, relatively recently, I have been getting an increasing number of coasters. It gets to 14% on the burn (each and every time) before I get the I/O error.

Hoping somebody can please shed some light, cos I'm tearing my hair out at the moment!

    Cheers,
    Mike.

Media ID = CMC MAG = The worst disc you can burn to!

Get some better disc to burn to.

        1) The fact that burns are all failing at the same point MAY be indicative of a dirty laser lens. Try running a DVD/CD cleaning disc on your burner. Maxell make sone that retails for approximately $10US

        2) Try burning t 2X
