    The Run-Time changes

    Hello Group,

    Here's the problem....

I have a Frasier DVD that I'm looking to extract one of the six files/shows to my pc.

I run the DVD thru Shrink which shows the one file I'm looking to save as being 22 minutes long.

After I extract the file, I then convert it to AVI.

But the 22 minute file now reads as only being 18 minutes long.

    Huh???

I've also ran the DVD thru Decrypter and then ripped with Shrink and get the same result.
I've also tried using DVDFab Decrypter and then converted to AVI/MPG with the same result.
I start with a 22 minute file but end up with an 18 minute AVI.

Any thoughts on how to correct this situation?

    Thanks,
    Barry

"But the 22 minute file now reads as only being 18 minutes long."

    1) Have you played the original - and TIMED it? (Perhaps 18 minutes) is the true length of the episode)

    2) Is there anything missing in the .AVI? (The indicated time may be irrelevant)
