Burning Stoping

Im using a Sony Internal DVD Writer with DVD Shrink.

When i burn a DVD via Nero (After encoding etc with dvd shrink) 8/10 times the computer seems to restart during the burning process, it encodes fine !

When i get to my computer there is nothing on the screen & i can see a small burn circle on the cd maybe 2cm wide,ive tried various blank dvd's but it still happens & everynow & then it will work

Any suggestions?

Your computer may be overheating. Take the side off the case, then rip and try to burn with the side off. See if it still restarts.

Do you have NERO set to "Simulation" under the "Burn" tab?

The side is already off the case.

No nero is not set to simulation when burning.
