TDK DVD-R Media

There is an upcoming promotion on this brand of DVD-Rs at a local warehouse type store. TDK is a recognizable brand. Has anyone had any trouble with skipping, freezing, pixelation, etc with these? I'd like to buy them as the promotion is a good one.
