    Problems with SE7EN

I've been trying to rip SE7EN (Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman) with both DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter. All settings are ok on the programs (well, they're worked up to now) but it's just not working. DVD Shrink returns a data error (cyclic redundancy check) and DVD Decrypter refuses to copy the files vts_01_1.vob and vts_01_7.vob. If anyone has any suggestions at all, please share! This is driving me nuts! Thanks.

    It could be worse.

More than likely a problem with the disc. Clean it good with isopropyl alchohol and make sure there are no scratches or flaws. If this doesn't work, return it for another copy! Cyclic redundancy and I/O errors are the programs way of telling you it doesn't like the disc.
Blessed are they who expect nothing, for they shall not be disappointed!

A CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) error is DVD Shrink's and/or DVD Decrypter's way of telling you that it cannot read the disc (DVD). It is caused from the disc being to dirty (fingerprints, smudges, etc.) or being to scratched.
