Taiyo Yuden 4x dvd-r

if i don't buy the TDKs... i am considering buying the Taiyo Yuden, based on JMET's recommendation of this brand. I can get the dvd-r 4x for a good price. is it fine to go with 4x, versus 8x (which is the standard). I'm guessing it wouldn't make a difference. Newbie question alert. LOL.

Go ahead and get the 4x Ty's. You won't regret it and the only difference is the burning time. A lot of places have the 4x's dirt cheap.
