I recently purchased a pioneer DL dvr-109 I'm having a problem with shrink recogizing my recorder. Before this change I had a HP300 it work great. does anyone out there have a pioneer recorder that can help me?
Win2k, I have dvd decrypter, dvd shrink, and nero 5.5 same setup I had with the HP recorder.

Is it internal or external? I'm just looking for success/fail stories of USB burners. Firewire too, but fewer boxes have firewire, unfortunately, so it's less interesting.

Can nero see the new burner? Is the Nero OEM and came with the HP or full retail?

Is your Nero Up to date according to here it is supposed to work with it.


last time I looked Nero was up to 6.6.0.16

no it not I guess this could be one of the problems. When I purchased the DVD it did not come bundled.

Update your Nero and try it again.
