Pioneer DVR-106D burn errors

I've had my system configured and running great for over 6 months now. I'm running Windows XP-SP2, the latest Nero(6.6.0.13), have a Pioneer 106D DVR (V1.8), and have used various recording media (Maxell - Fuji) successfully. Lately I've been receiving the following errors at the end of the record cycle and just before the data verification cycle.

Write error

Session fixation error

Could not perform end of Disc-at-Once

I've also been experiencing a "Power Calibration Error" more and more and as I've burnt close to 300 disks on the little beasty by now, I'm thinking the lenses may just need a good cleaning. Any thoughts from other who may have experinced this same thing?

If after the fixes in LT's link (remove Nero, run clean tool and reinstall etc.) do an update to Nero they are now at 6.6.0.16. I hope the burner ain't shot!

Good suggestions and very good write-up on the "Power Calibration Error" But I'm still puzzled over what could be causing the "Could not perform end of Disc-at-Once" error, as this only occurs at the very end of the writing cycle?

Update ...

After purchasing and running a head cleaner on my drive ... everything appears to operating normally again. I must have a dusty environment. Thank you for the inputs and I will keep the links.
