I go through the entire process of shrinking and then burning my backup dvd’s, but when I put the dvd in my standalone dvd player (panasonic dvd f-65) it will not run. This is a new computer, I used dvd shrink on my computer and my dvd player played the dvds just fine. The burner I have now is the Phillips +- RW DVD 6701. I examined the disk I attempted to burn and the video ts and audio folders are present. I was able to play the disk through my nero showtime 2 player, so I know I did burn something. Any advice on how to burn the dvds so they can play on my standalone dvd player

I'm not familiar with your stand alone player, but how old is it? I have a dvd player that is about 7 years old, and it won't play burned dvd's, only factory ones.Comment

thank you for responding, I tried that, and couldnt find the media codes part. Can I just download the media when and if I do figure out what media I need?Comment
