You have incompatible media( MJC ME - )
for the firmware of your drive(50%-75% probability)
Firmware= what the drive uses to try and burn different dvd blanks
    1. easy way out, try a name brand media blank at slow speed(2-4x)
older/slower blanks will probably work better anyway.
Your blanks are too new a media code!
    JVC 8x DVD-R ?

The highlighted bytes above together interprets to a "parameter value invalid", which is referred to your CDB (Command Descriptor Block) Data. It could be that 0x2A, Write (10), is the wrong command sent when you should have a 0xAA, Write(12). Write(12) is currently only defined for optical devices.

The ILLEGAL_REQUEST means your burner cannot support/recognize the command sent to it, which is what you have in your CDB Data.

Having the right firmware and drivers may help out. I see you have upgraded your USB. Do you have the right drivers?

Hmmm...looks like there was some bitsetting to be done here and you are using a DVD-R.
