Is 2/disc good for memorex DL DVD's? I honestly don;t have a clue.

I am assuming you meant to put "$2.00/disc." If I am correct, then the price is okay. In fact, the price is very good. However, the Memorex do not have the reputation for being the "safest" choice when it comes to the dual layer blank media.
That honor would go to the Verbatims, which are still generally priced higher. We have now seen the Verbatims occasionally on sale for as low as under $3 per disc.

The first E-Tailer mentioned above will usually be the more expensive, but that is because they have the best in customer service and reliability.
Also, keep in mind that you would pay shipping on any of the above choices. Regardless, they are always a good indicator as to the ongoing current priicing.
