doulbe layers disc that are reasonable?

I bought dl disc from wall mart 3 for 20$, and that are little too expensive now I got a few movie that too long and I have to shink 5 or six time in order to get down to 4300, any one know where the best site or place to buy DL disc that are decent.

Use shrink in reauthor mode and cut out all the extras, menus, and credits,
most movies shrink quickly and easily then, really big long ones are better
off reauthored into 2 parts, it's quicker and much cheaper than overcompressing or buying and burning dual layer disks.
When dual layer burning is reliable at 8x and disks are less than a buck,
I might start using them, "don't hold your breath!"

Use Verbatim DLs only. I buy mine from an online supplier who is very good. Try to avoid the normal retail but if you must buy retail, insist on Verbatim.

would you give out that suppliers? Blutach?, I try to cut out everythings but it is still not fit, they are multiple files in the main movie even when I cut everythings it is still too big, so I give up and does it in d9, all I use are verbatim which I got from sam ' club 42$ for 100

I just got CompUSA's ad for next week. I believe they have 25 DL's for $30. Not sure what brand, but sale starts Tomorrow (10-9). That's the cheapest I've seen them.

That link above will get you Verbatim's (the best) for $11.99 a three-pack. You still have to pay shipping, so quantity helps here.

That link above gets you the same discs, but for $4.00 +. Still, much less than you paid.

Note that those dealers both offer others brands for far less. Some for less than $2.25 per disc. BUT, I would not receommend any other name right now -- other than the Verbatim DVD+R -- when it comes to the dual layer media.

Also, watch carefully for sales. Eight days ago, BestBuy.com offered these same discs for a 5 pack for only $19.99. That comes out to only $1.99 per disc. You had to pay shipping, or you could orrder it to be delivered to your nearest store, which then meant no shipping (but of course you will pay tax on these). The sale only lasted a few hours, though, and then it was posted as "sold out" at their web site.

About three weeks ago, Staples (in some areas, at least) also had a similar sale, for the same discs, for the same price. Again, a five-pack for $19.99. $1.99 per disc. I ran to my own store, and they knew nothing about it. Then, I read of several people who did the same, but had their store scan it into the computer, and it showed that the price was indeed $19.99, even though there was no store tag or sales brochure to mention this. I wish I had had the foresight to ask my Staples to scan it, as I now suspect it would have shown correctly ($19.99) on their computer, based on the reports I read.

The prices seem to be finally creeping down to the $3 and $2 price range, at least on occasion, even for the best stuff, so keep your eyes open, and check the on-line community carefully (I first saw both of these sales mentioned on forums such as these).
