PGCEdit: LB Gui not opening.

Newbie to PGCEdit here.

I can not get the Layer Break dialogue screen to open for me. No "error message" instead either. The ImgTool opens instead. I've tried several different rips to no avail. All over 6.5-7.5GB or so. Some authored with DVDShrink, some 1 to 1 copies. All will play in software player. What am I missing please?

Not a newbie in general. I've authored hundreds of DVD's. Hit me with what you've got.

Newest version of PGCEdit
IMGTool v. 0.91.5 Classic (including mkisofs.exe and cygwin1.dll)
IMGBurn 1

I have run through the Setup screen in PGCEdit and completed.
I know it's something silly that I'm missing, but I'm running out of Tylenol. Time to ask for help.

Can you double check the PgcEdit Settings in "Options" -> Input/Output -> Burn/Create ISO Setup

Click the Check Version button for ImgToolClassic it needs to be v2.01 or higher, which it sounds like you should be ok. Also click the .... buttons and verify the paths to mkisofs.exe and ImgBurn.exe

Yes. Everything is fine there.

News however. I transferred everything to my 2K box and all seems to be fine. I get the LB GUI. Sigh. Must be something amiss on my above mentioned XP SP2 box.

Sorry to be a nuisance. Hopefully all is fine now.

Adding this after re-re-re-checking. Ack!!!! I had the path wrong to mkisofs.exe! Had it set to ImgTool instead. I mis-moused. Gad!

Needless to say, it works now.

Question. Probably obvious. I have re-authored LOTRFOTR and there are 41 chapters and 41 cells. Yet only 17-27 show on the LB GUI, PGCEdit having chosen #23 for the LB. Is it only showing 17-23 as that is all I need to see to choose the LB? I'm thinking, yes.

I ask because on the guide for this, it shows many chapters with a scroll bar on the side. I figure this was changed on the updated PGCEdit version, but not reflected in the guide.

Pinan, yes that would be my guess. I know that r0lZ made some changes in the v6.1 betas so that people using 800x600 resolution wouldn't lose things off-screen.

Thanks for the clarification. I can see that it's not needed to view all of the chapters.

Btw. After testing/burning, all is fine now.
