interesting article on best quality blank dvds

Here's an article on what brand of blank dvds hold up the best....and I thought Verbatims were supposed to be among the best "store brand" media.

Not sure how much merit this has, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Backup important data every 5 years? I may have to invest in an external harddrive.

The article was hopefully just for amusement purposes, judging by the title and content. He spends nearly half the article talking about microwaving the discs and what he paid for media at the local brick and mortar stores.

The comments in the linked forum are much more informative than the article itself and are well worth reading, I'd recommend skipping the article and just read the comments.

I haven't done a microwave but I have done it with a toaster.
