file contamination

I use DVd Shrink and Nero 6 + Pioneer 109 burner, I have a problem with each new burn I do, I always delete the folder and contents of the previous burn and make a new folder each time for each new burn
The problem is that after I have burnt the next DVD I find frames from the last DVD burnt appearing on the new burn I was told this may be hidden files and I was told to delete the folder and it contents each time , I have done this , the problem continues Iam at a loss to eliminate this problem somewhere previous files are in existance and find their way to contaminate the new files ,
Can any one explain what to do to get over this problem?

Are you using a RW to write on? Please post your Nero log - it is located at C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\NeroHistory.log

You could try running a scandisk or chkdsk to see if the file system is ok on the HDD.

Les thanks for the reply I dont use r/w dvds I will send a log next time I do a bur, trouble is it doesnt always present it self thats the hassle

JM thanks for your reply I run scan disc most of the time I have decided to remove Nero and reinstall i am currently evaluating the new burns I did a test burn and no contamination mind this can be the case it doesnt always present itself thanks so much for your response Geoff

I would try something like a defrag if you haven't done one for a while.

I actually have seen this myself just once ages ago. I got part of The Fifth Element during the credits for The Matrix. Luckily, it was on a RW disc.
