nero6 no nero burning rom why?

I have nero 6 on disc and have reinstalled a number of times it has a serial number that is valid but no nero burning rom why?
I have oem in my control panel that I can't delete.
I was just wondering if I update to nero 6.6.0.16. reload package 1 which does include the nero burning rom 6. Will I be able to sucessfully install nero burning rom that way? Please help?

I suspect your burner came with Nero Express OEM version. And that is all your update will allow.

If you want the full version, you may need to actually buy it (don't bother).

I would update to the free 6.6.0.16 anyway. I got away with burning DVD's just using Nero Express and only went to the full version for the other features Recode etc. . Depends on what you need to do. Nero 7 has a lot of new features by what they have posted, you may want to check that out.
