shrink o.k. but cannot link file to burn

I've tried to set things up & thoroughly confused myself(not very difficult at the best of times).

I tried Chetwood's double shrink method & it worked first time.
I can now use dvd decrypter & shrink with a lttle bit of confidence.

It depends on what you wanna do: if Shrink can decrypt the DVD shrink straight to ISO so you can burn with Decrypter or ImgBurn. If the copy protection is too much for Shrink to handle rip to with Decrypter to your HD (file or iso mode) and then shrink to iso.

BTW, anyone know how dvdshrink managed to implement an iso function in his tool without having to resort to mkisofs as PgcEdit does?

He probably wrote it himself. I do not believe he uses the mkisofs implementation (as the sectors are not properly honoured).
